I hope someone can help me!

I have a textbox as well as a combobox on a form. The textbox contains a date that can edited and the combobox contains a list of weekending dates for 2 years. I want to have the ability of chosing a date in the text field and have it automatically select the weekending accordingly. Is this possible??
